Market
With the fast development of Automobile manufacturing, electronics, communication technology, packaging, domestic appliances and medical devices in China, especially in the Bohai-Rim area, plastics and rubber are more widely used in the fields. Meanwhile, new progress is continuously making in the plastics and rubber material processing technology and equipments, so obviously this field has good prospects and great potential to develop.
As an important commercial port city in the north and an door open to the outside world in Shandong province, economically Qingdao has a great impact on the provincial economy development. Hosting the 2008 Olympics Sailing Game greatly promoted the opening-up scope and pushed the harmony development of Shandong area.
Qingdao is a real industry mafacturing base. It has advaced equipments manufacturing, electronics information industry, domestic appliances, automobile and auto parts, medical devices, marine study, new construcation materials and soft packaging, and is also a famous manufacturing base of light industry in the Bohai-Rim area, for instance, plastics and rubber material processing, packaging machinery and plactics and rubber products. And there are many well known enterprises, for instance, Hair, Hisense, Aucma, Double Star, Fow Jiefang Qingdao Auto Factory and Huaren Century Group.

Review and Prospect
Last exhibition was held on 28-31, July, 2008 in Qingdao International Convention Centre. It had been named "the top ten brand exhibitions" by Shandong Exhibition Industry. There were 165 exhibitors including 17 foreign ones, 40,000 SQM exhibiting area involving 12, 000 SQM for exhibiting plastic machinery and other equipments. All the visitors were from Japan, South Korean, American, German, Britain and other 17 countries. The well-known exhibitors were Jinan Days-Plastic Machinery Co., Ltd, the Chen Hsong Group, Coperion, L.K.
